First, is to brush your teeth at least twice a day after meals. Secondly, is to visit your dentists twice a year for cleaning and checkup. However, it not enough to just brush your teeth with a toothbrush. There are some techniques you must know when it comes to cleaning your teeth. You need to choose a toothbrush with the soft bristle. Brush your teeth properly by holding your toothbrush at a 45-degree angle towards the gum. Make sure you brush your teeth thoroughly and every surface of the tooth. You must do the brushing at back and forth motion. You must at least brush a tooth for about 2 or 3 seconds. Also, remember to brush your teeth longer and not harder. When you brush too hard the gum will tend to recede. Do not forget to brush your tongue to remove the bacteria that causes bad breath. The toothpaste must also be taken into consideration. Experts recommend choosing a fluoride toothpaste that could reduce the plaques and bacteria. Proper FlossingProper flossing could clean your teeth thoroughly. Make sure that you floss at least once a day before going to bed and before brushing. To do the appropriate flossing, you must gently place about 18 inches of floss between the teeth and then wrap the floss around one tooth. Once done putting the floss, gently or slowly move the floss up and down for about five times. Make a C shape with the floss as you approach the gum line. You must do this for each tooth to remove the bacteria between the teeth and below the gum line. You must have a new floss with one hand and flutter the used floss onto the other hand. Complete RinsingThe dentists advise rinsing with the mouthwash that contains fluoride, which could toughen the enamel and prevent cavities. The mouthwash with fluoride will also kill bacteria that cause bad breath. Give importance to your oral hygiene, and it would bear healthy results for you.
